As the noble animal symbol that represents the Chinese emperors, Dragons are born leaders and masters of ceremonies. And because of this, every Chinese parent is hoping to have a Dragon child. Dragon people get things started and keep them moving. The are feisty and gifted with power and luck. Most people look up to the Dragon. Dragons are born monarchs. As far as they can see, their power is indisputable. Dragons are idealists, perfectionists, they are born thinking they are perfect and they are inflexible. Dragons are also aggressive and determined, going after what they want is second nature to them. Irritable and stubborn, the Dragon is a real big mouth and his words often outrun his thoughts. Nevertheless, his opinions are worth listening to and his advice is always good. People do, in fact, listen to him and his influence is considerable. The Dragon is over-proud. Dragons are dauntless, dynamic and delightful. When a Dragon enters a gathering, the room starts to simmer. Dragons are tyrannical. They hate orders except when they are giving them. Dragon knows innately how to exert authority yet be gentle with his slaves. Dragons are terrible snobs. Although money is not always the object, they are slavishly impressed by wealth, prestige, rank and splendor.The Dragon is gifted, intelligent, tenacious, willing and generous. He can do anything. No matter whether the Dragon chooses an artistic career, medical or political one, he is going to shine in it. He will be a success wherever he goes. The Dragon is often loved. He is never disappointed in love. In fact, he is frequently the cause of some drama of despair....

Maharaj-ji established at least 108 temples, fed millions of people, advised government and corporate leaders, performed what can be called Miracles, influenced current American and Indian society, brought grace into the lives of countless suffering people, and all the while remained out of the "public eye." It is believed that by the time Maharaj-ji was 17 years old He knew EVERYTHING. This is to be taken to mean a knowing that is actually incomprehensible to you and me. A knowing that is all. The knowing of Bhagvan. The knowing of God. Maharaj-ji had nothing and Maharaj-ji had everything. In the late 60's an American known as Baba Ram Dass authored books telling of Neem Karoli Baba and hundreds of westerners went for Maharaj-ji's darshan. Maharaj-ji was elusive as the stories tell, but many were allowed to be in His presence and they tell stories that are a wonderment of love and grace and lilas and mostly awe. Now, there appears to be three Maharaj-ji's. One is the historical Maharaj-ji. This Maharaj-ji seems to have taken birth and lived a "traceable" life in time. Secondly, there is the "formless" Maharaj-ji. This Maharaj-ji is the Maharaj-ji that we apparently connect with on our "inner" dimension. Thirdly, there is the Maharaj-ji that exists in form "now"; the Maharaj-ji who is reported seen and experienced; the Maharaj-ji who never actually died. This is Maharaj-ji who is a "time-traveler". We are just beginning to learn about that Maharaj-ji and some of His effects in the world. Maharaj-ji taught many people. These teachings continue today. The teaching was very subtle or literally a knock on the head. Maharaj-ji's teachings seem to have been totally individual. Maharaj-ji has visited, helped, guided, fed, and called into service so many in the last twenty-five years. Maharaj-ji never went away. For this we can be grateful. All our actions all our thoughts all our state of mindis lived in a dual manner. The majority of the time, we are only conscious of the material and /or sensual (meaning from the senses) aspect of life.
When we have intuitions, inspirations, aspirations or synchronicities that's when we re-connect with the other dimension of our dual life.
Religion, from re-ligare, is the collective consciousness aspiration of humanity to reconnect to that spiritual side of our life.

But because religion is separatist, materialistic organized, and very pragmatic it failed to bring spirituality into the lives of humanity. More natural and not organized ways like meditation, shamanism, psychedelics, and in the last years apparitions
of the Virgin Mary, accomplishes wonders as far as taking us to "upstairs".
Nonetheless religious practice is a good way to have "dharma" of the presence of these great spiritual beings. This book lead me to join the -AMORC- Ancient Mystic Order Rosae Crucis which I recommend for those interested in mysticism presented in a orderly and programmed fashion.

Cannabis was used in Hindu culture as early as 1500 BCE, and its ancient use is confirmed within the Vedas (Sama Veda, Rig Veda, and Atharva Veda).
Cannabis or ganja is associated with worship of the Hindu god Shiva, who is popularly believed to like the hemp plant. Ganja is offered to Shiva images, especially on Shivratri festival. This practice is particularly witnessed at temples of Benares, Baidynath and Tarakeswar.
Ganja is not only offered to the god, but also consumed by Shaivite (sect of Shiva) yogis. Charas is smoked by some Shaivite devotees and cannabis itself is seen as a gift ("prasad," or offering) to Shiva to aid in sadhana.[16] Some of the wandering ascetics in India known as sadhus smoke charas out of a clay chillum.
During the Hindu festival of Holi, people consume a drink called bhang which contains cannabis flowers. According to one description, when elixir of life was produced from the churning of the ocean by the gods and the demons, Shiva created cannabis from his own body to purify the elixir (whence, for cannabis, the epithet angaj or body-born). Another account suggests that the cannabis plant sprang when a drop of the elixir dropped on the ground. Thus, cannabis is used by sages due to association with elixir and Shiva. Wise drinking of bhang, according to religious rites, is believed to cleanse sins, unite one with Shiva and avoid the miseries of hell in the after-life. In contrast, foolish drinking of bhang without rites is considered a sin.
Researchers claim that in the 5th century BCE Siddhartha ate only hemp seeds for six years, prior to becoming the Buddha. Cannabis continues to play a significant role in the meditation ritual of Tibetan Tantric Buddhism, and has been a practice since 500 BCE when cannabis was regarded as a holy plant.
Hindu holy men, devotees, and tourists by the hundreds, if not thousands, smoked marijuana this weekend outside a temple in Nepal to honor Shiva the Destroyer, the Hindu god of change and goodness. The annual festival at the Pashupatinath temple on the outskirts of Katmandu is expected to draw 150,000 people, the Associated Press reported.
Holy men (or yogis) smeared in ash and wearing loin cloths shared marijuana, or charas, with worshippers, locals, and tourists as they chanted praises to Shiva. In Hindu tradition, the gods sent the hemp plant to man to help him attain delight, courage, and sexual powers. I tried to buy a ticket but it was sold out and the tickets available were just sold in pairs...I went to the concert anyway, at the parking lot I met this black dude selling ONE ticket, I convinced him to sell me at face value...I dont know how probably because both of us were very high...Got a good seat next to a YES fanatic that just after the opening fired up a pipe with hashish...The guy new everything and some about YES..

I just stopped and said hello...she hello me back and invite me to see her son play beach volleyball. I mentioned the concert and I invited her to see Harry Chapin again that same night. We made the appointment and drove to the Greek Theatre. I remember she was impressed with my driving...And I had no tickets...You can always buy with the scalpers so I was just a little worried.
I went to the ticket windows and got to the line to see what was available when a young kid approached us and asked if we wanted two tickets...free my friends free... We were speechless and he left so fast we could hardly thank him...
Joe Cocker- Sao Paulo, BRASIL - This was such a crazy experience. We went to the concert in the Portuguesa Stadium with some friends. We decided to leave our spouses home and hang out at the hotel where Joe Cocker and the band was staying the whole night and the next day follow the band to Santos (beach city 70 km from SP). So we did it. During the night we put together a plan to pose as brazilians reporters to interview Joe Cocker. One of my friends was a free lance photographer and had credentials of one of the well known magazines.
At the bar we met the band manager and proposed the interview. Was to be me and another friend as reporters and the photogapher. He agreed and said one of us would ride in the limousine with Joe Cocker for the interview and the other two would ride with the bus to Santos. We were just jumping up and down all very high. We spent the night dancing and partying...No sleep at all. The next day we hang around the hotel waiting for the big interview and the ride to Santos. When the time came we were at the lobby when out of the elevators come Nick Hopkins the piano player carried by the manager and another guy. Nicky had passed out high of too much partying. Joe Cocker at that time was at the low point of his career. They throwed Nick in the limousine and came back to us and said we would have to do the interview in the bus as Joe Cocker was going to ride in the bus with us and let Nick ride the limousine with another guy to Santos. We got in the bus with the whole entourage and here we go. They put a tape of the Austalian concert they had just done and every body started fire big joints including us. And my friend started doing the interview as he spoke much better english them me. He was seated at the side of Joe Cocker and me and my friend photographer in the row in front. I had the pleasure to get Joe Cocker pass me a joint man...digged it man...The bus was totally filled with pot smoke and Joe Cocker music blasting when we came to the Toll both. I think the toll both man got high...:) We got to the concert, took pictures back stage and watched the concert standing and dancing in the front row...What a crazy experience!!!
